Queer/ Trans Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement®

Spring // Summer 2026 Series

Tuesdays, 6-7:15 pm

May 26th- June 30th

Grounded Stability: lessons to build adaptive feet, ankles, knees

6 lessons that support resilient and adaptable feet, ankles, and knees! Explore the immense dynamism of your feet and ankles, while situating their movements into the knee joint and lower body as a whole. Prepare the part of you that connects with the ground to aquaint with, balance on, and move over various kinds of rocky and root-filled landscapes.

These classes come from a desire to cultivate a supported and community-oriented class space, acknowledging that wellness and movement classes may feel alienating for those with non-normative bodies or experiences. Each class offers a different Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement® lesson. Classes will develop through the series; weekly attendance will deepen your experience.

MASKS REQUIRED! K/N94/95s are preferred. This enables these classes to be more accessible to those who mask in shared/public space. Please reach out if you have any questions around this!

All bodies and abilities welcome and encouraged!!

What can I expect?

Each class is an invitation to slow down, connect, and inhabit yourself in a new way. Classes open and close with a gathering and option to share. Slow, grounding, verbally guided movement instructions that encourage you to bear witness to new possibilities of moving and being.

Previous class participants have shared:

  • new understanding of what ‘slow’ can actually feel like

  • learning to lead movement with curiosity, rather than seeking an outcome

  • affirming sense of being more situated inside their body

  • developing new relationships with movement
